About Safe Flying
Safe flying is fun flying. Our aerial cameras have built-in safety features to protect you and others. Below you will find helpful tips, info on product safety features and resources to help you get started. Always fly safe, be respectful and have fun!
Before each flight, pls make sure you have fully understood and will obey the law and local regulations. UPair drone is pre-programmed to prevent flying in national aviation authority designated No-Fly Zones or in excess of 400ft above ground level. There are lots of great places to fly, but there are some restrictions. Be aware of local regulations and permits before you fly.
FLY IN AN OPEN AREA
Always choose a wide open area for every flight, well away fromcrowds, buildings, high-voltage power lines. Don’t fly under harsh weather conditions like strong wind, heavy snow or rain or thick fog etc. Never fly directly over people or animals.
Before You Take Off
INSPECT YOUR AIRCRAFT
Inspect your aircraft for damage and wear to ensure that your aircraft is ready for flight.
Flight time on a full charge is 20 minutes. Make sure batteries are charged to get the most out of every session. Batteries typically take 1.5 hours for a complete charge, so plan ahead.
Match the black-nut propeller with the motor with a hole in the center, then tighten the propeller by screwing it down counter clock-wise.
Match the grey-nut propeller with the motor without a hole in the center, then tighten the propeller by screwing it down clock-wise.
CHECK THE CONTROLLER
Always turn the controller on and allow it to boot up before turning the drone on and always turn the drone off before turning off the controller.
Maintain a 10m distance from the aircraft when taking off and landing.
MAINTAIN IN SIGHT
Maintain visual contact of the aircraft at all times. UPair drones limit the distance you can fly the drone away from controller to ensure you maintain suitable control.
FLIGHT HEIGHT LIMIT
As the RTH Mode activates, the aircraft will rise to a fixed height.
FAILSAFE AUTO RETURN
During a flight, when the battery voltage is depleted to 10.6V or less, the Auto Return function will make the aircraft fly back to the home point.
ALWAYS IN CONTROL
Keep your hands on the flight controls to ensure controlled flight.
NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL
Do not fly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Be respectful of the space and privacy of others.
